This year, 2005,
marks WINSOL’s 35th anniversary. We are very grateful
to all of you for
your support, loyalty and interest in the ever-growing science
and technology in
the cleaning industry. Thirty-five years ago we were
mostly involved
in carpet and upholstery cleaning based on the technology
developed for the
aerospace industry. What’s safe and effective for high tech
aircraft maintenance
is surely safe enough for home and building maintenance.
Our burgeoning business
grew.
First, we are a
research and development business with constant new projects
to research.
We focus mostly on specialty chemistry fueled by an increase in
the development
of new, exciting fabrics and fibers used for a wide range of
industries in an
even wider range of applications. Many of these new fibers and
fabrics require
new and specialized cleaners and methodologies for optimum
maintenance.
We are involved
in developing special products for the decontamination of high
tech fire fighter’s
protective fabrics and gear, specialty cleaning emulsions for
advanced fibers
for awnings, fabric screens and for all the new generations of
carpet and upholstery.
This is an exciting
challenge, one in which I feel we are excelling. Look to our
ever-changing web
site to see some of the new ideas we have come up with
and be sure to check
some of our old standards as they do not stay stagnant,
but are constantly
reviewed and upgraded. In our industry, nothing can stay
the same for long.
